Activities

At the Dolpo Amchi Rinpoche Trust Foundation, our activities are designed to preserve the ancient wisdom of Sowa Rigpa, support community well-being, and promote environmental and cultural sustainability in Dolpo and beyond. Through our programs, we aim to educate, empower, and inspire both locals and visitors to experience and participate in the living traditions of the Himalayas.

Our Key Activities

  • Health Camps & Herbal Medicine Services
Free medical camps provide traditional Sowa Rigpa treatments to underserved communities. Our team also conducts research and prepares herbal medicines using locally sourced ingredients.

  • Monastery & Stupa Restoration
Preserving sacred sites, monasteries, and stupas is vital to maintaining Dolpo’s spiritual and cultural heritage. Our restoration projects combine traditional craftsmanship with community involvement.

  • Educational Workshops & Training
We offer workshops on medicinal herbs, environmental conservation, and traditional healing techniques for students, local youth, and visiting practitioners.

  • Community Support Initiatives
From distributing warm clothing and solar lights to planting trees and maintaining greenhouses, our activities aim to support sustainable living in remote Himalayan villages.

  • Spiritual & Cultural Programs
Ritual offerings, prayer ceremonies, and festivals are organized to uphold Dolpo’s spiritual traditions while bringing the community together.
